Don't you find weird a bunch of laws supposed protect intellectual property are being enacted all the sudden?

These laws, under a false reassuring pretense, open the way for massive filtering and manipulation, content analysis and banning without any control. Governments could not be happier at the thought.

 

The dark side of these laws is exactly this: put in place all necessary pre-requisites and conditions to be able to impose and deploy a general DPI (Deep Packet Inspection), preferably with public opinion consent. We are in fact just a step away from 1984, as Orwell depicted it.
